THE FACTS
The Super Seven crystal is actually quartz containing a combination of 7 different minerals - Clear Quartz, Amethyst, Smokey Quartz, Rutile, Cacoxenite, Geothite and Lepidocrocite. On the Mohs hardness scale, it is a 7-7.5.
It can be difficult to distinguish each mineral in every specimen, but all are accounted for, even if only in minute particles. Each Super Seven might differ in appearance, but most specimens show an array of brown, grey, deep orange, red, & purple.
A LITTLE HISTORY
Super Seven is found near the Espiritu Santo (meaning ‘Holy Spirit’) area in the Minas Gerais region of Brasil. Super Seven is also known as Melody’s stone or Sacred Seven Stone.
